2005 LifeLight Stories

I was clapping and dancing. Then, all the sudden I sat down. I felt weird like my body just let go. And I knew right then, that very moment God touched me, and I was saved!

I went to Life Light this year. My family and I have gone to many events likeLifeLight ... When I heard about Life Light I just thought,”Oh yea just some concert with a bunch of old Christian music.”

Well I was dumbfounded. When I got there the music ... it was awesome! It had all genres from Rock to even RAP!!! My favorite part was when I went to the Newsboys. When they played the song He Reigns I was clapping and dancing. Then, all the sudden I sat down. I felt weird like my body just let go. And I knew right then, that very moment God touched me, and I was saved!

It was the greatest feeling in the whole entire world. I just want to THANK YOU! For making the rest of my life belong to Jesus!

Everyone was so kind and helpful.  Our first stop on Thursday was to the prayer tent--our girls had gotten sick the day before we left--Val prayed with us for our family and our girls--we left blessed and had a great weekend.

Thank you for all your HARD WORK in putting this together!  Our family had a GREAT time.

We loved the grounds -- the roads through the fields to park were great-- our girls (3 and 2) loved the trams and we rode them whenever we could--it was great for mom and dad too --we didn't have to carry them!!!

We loved the water park--it was wonderful to come and go as we wanted and to be surrounded by the festival was great--all we had to do was pack up the stroller and walk to any stage we wanted to!!!

The grounds were great--we loved being there--we met folks from Canada at the Third Day Concert. We will look forward to coming again next year with our family--what a great atmosphere to expose our little ones too--the gospel and fun--because Jesus is fun!!!  (we also loved the speakers we heard --Mike McIntosh and Luis Palau--they were awesome)

Our only complaint is that it had to end.  As my kids would say "You rocked our socks off"!!

Wow!  What a blessing Life Light has been for us.

I am a youth worker and I used Life Light as a kick-off retreat for my youth group. What an awesome weekend you provided.

Everyone we came in contact with from bands to vendors truly emulated the mission of Life Light.  The time spent at the festival was the highlight of each youth's weekend.

Our only complaint is that it had to end.  As my kids would say "You rocked our socks off"!!

Thank you for your careful planning. God spoke to the heart of my youth through the music the bands shared.  It was truly a celebration of God's presence with us in the middle of a cornfield in South Dakota.  We will make this an annual event in the life of our youth group.

May God bless you.

...when his asked us to pray with him and ask God to enter our lives ... I gave my life to Jesus Christ and I thought this is the best day of my life!

When I first heard that the life light festival was going to be at wild water west I thought that was a bad idea but I was wrong. I came to camp at lifelight on Saturday morning with my youth group and it was so fun. When I saw the line up for shows I was so excited. I couldn't wait until the Newsboys, Third Day, Remedy Drive and Tomorow's 39 cuz they are my favorite.

When I was waiting for the Third Day concert I listened to the speaker Luis Palau and when he asked us to pray with him and ask God to enter our lives right there and then I gave my life to Jesus Christ and I thought this is the best day of my life!!!! I'm saved by the grace of God! I just needed someone to show me the way.
